Margaret Osburn, 88

Margaret L. Osburn, 88 of Rarden, Ohio died Sunday Nov. 4, 2012, at the Hospice of Ohio Hope Inpatient Center, Peebles, Ohio. She was born Oct. 27, 1924, in Scioto County, Ohio to the late John and Edith White Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Osburn on Aug. 4, 1994. Surviving are a son, Robert Litreal and wife Shay of Rarden, and Susie Strickland and husband, Robert of Otway, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, one sister, Wilma Hoffer of Midway, Ohio, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by seven brothers: Leland, Buzz, James, Gordon, Donnie, Paul, and Burlin Thompson.

She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from the former Williams Shoe Manufacturing.

Friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, from noon until 1 p.m. at Botkin Funeral Home in Otway. Graveside services will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Peebles, Ohio.
