Margaret Elizabeth Cook, 61, of Portsmouth and formerly of South Webster, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth after a brief illness.

She was born on August 29, 1950, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold Alfred Cook and Opal Lowder Cook.

Margaret had a great love of God, music, and life with a ready smile, a hug and an “I Love You”. She made an impact in the lives to all that knew her. She also had a great passion for shopping, writing, and just being with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Evelyn McIntosh.

She is survived by two sisters, Kay (John) Wagner, Linda (Carl) Canter; three brothers, Alfred “Junie” (Martha) Cook, Howard (Flo) Cook, and James (Karen) Cook; along with many nieces and nephews, and her extended family at Scioto Residential.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at the Davis Funeral Home in South Webster with Rob Fulton, officiating and interment in Vernon Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Tuesday and anytime prior to the services on Wednesday at the Davis Funeral Home.
