Marcella Worthington, 66

Marcella Lou Worthington, 66, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, Dec.9, 2012, at SOMC. She was born in Portsmouth Dec. 19, 1945, a daughter of the late George Washington Crawford Adkins and Frances Irene Stevens Adkins.

Surviving are a son, Wade Crawford Worthington of Portsmouth; two daughters, Mary (David) Gray of Sciotoville and Michele Dawn Worthington of Portsmouth; two brothers, George Marshall (Stacy) Adkins of Sugar Grove and Jerry (Pam) Adkins of Friendship; a sister, Mary (Norman) Gross of Portsmouth; and five grandchildren.

Marcella was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Norman Adkins; and a sister Emogene McGraw.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
