New Boston Police are searching for a suspect in a case of child enticement, reported at the New Boston Kiwanis Apartment Complex.

According to the New Boston Police Capt. Steve Goins, a young female child reported at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday that a man attempted to have her leave the Kiwanis Apartment Complex with him while the child was outside playing.

Witnesses described the possible suspect, seen walking away from the apartments going east bound towards Rhodes Avenue. He is described as a white male, about 25-30 years old, wearing a white t-shirt and camouflage hat, with long dirty blonde colored hair.

This is the only description New Boston Police Department has of the suspect right now.

Goins said this is being treated as a case of child enticement, and not attempted abduction, because the suspect was trying to lure the child away and never actually touched the child.

He asks that anyone who lives in the New Boston area near the scene who might have seen this same suspect, or believe they know him by description and his clothing description, please call the New Boston Police Department at 740-456-4109 and report it to police dispatchers.

I cannot believe something this serious is made into a joke. You obviously do not have kids. I hope this preditor is caught before he succeeds in his attempts.
