Officers from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Department are investigating an aggravated robbery reported at Subway in Lucasville, Sunday night.

According to Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini, his office received an emergency 911 call for assistance at about 9:48 p.m. Sunday from an employee at Subway, in Lucasville. The caller advised that the store had just been robbed.

The employee described the suspect as a white male, about six feet tall, with a heavy build. The employee said the man came into the store with his face covered, produced a weapon and demanded money from the attendant. The employee said that the male suspect fled the store on foot with an undetermined amount of money. The suspect was not seen getting into a vehicle.

No further information was available at press time Monday.

Donini asks that anyone with information on this case may please contact Det. Paul Blaine at (740) 354-7566. All calls will remain confidential.

We hadn't until now. This paper is too busy doing other things then to keep up on the crimes committed and criminals doing so. 'People dropping out of races and money that the city receives which will more than likely waste on something we dont need or the money will some how come up missing' can sit on the back burner. To just say your the local source of news isn't enough, YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY LET PEOPLE KNOW WHATS GOING ON AS SOON AS YOU KNOW!!!
