Leader’s career day leads Senators over Buckeyes

West senior Tori Leader went off for a career-high 35 points as the Senators defeated Nelsonville-York 77-67 in Saturday’s nonconference girls contest that took place during the Wellston Lady Rockets Classic.

Leader, who also grabbed 11 rebounds and was named the team’s MVP in the game. McKenzie Whittaker added 19 points, Kammy Oiler had 10 and Alex Ridout pulled down 10 rebounds in the victory.

West returns home Monday night to entertain SOC II foe South Webster.
