Judy Nichols, 69

Judy Carol Nichols, 69, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Hempstead Manor in Portsmouth.

She was born March 5, 1943, in McDermott, a daughter of the late Frank and Lena Howard Webb. She was a retired manager of Convenient Storage, a former Edgewood Manor employee, and a 1960 Northwest High School graduate.

She is survived by her husband, Charles David Nichols, whom she married Feb. 18, 1988, in McDermott; one daughter Tammie (Tom) Roberts of Waverly; one grandson David Roberts; her caregiver, William Hill, who was like her son of Portsmouth; one brother, Jim Webb of Lucasville; two sisters Ella Hamilton of Lucasville and Teresa Miller of Waverly.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers Jack and Ernest Webb; and one sister, Eugenia Layne.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Rushtown Cemetery with George Vastine officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
