Trina Nguyen and Jimmy Phan bring a combined 16 years of experience to the new business they manage — Impressive Nails, located in the New Boston Village Mall near the Wal-Mart Supercenter.

The new business opened Tuesday and offers manicures and pedicures for men, women and children.

A new feature — the first in New Boston — is a kids mini pedicure chair, Nguyen said.

The chair, which features a brightly colored stuffed animal at the top, bright colors and a DVD player for kids to watch movies, has a massage on it and a jet spa for the feet.

“The kids love it,” Nguyen said.

The salon also offers air brushing, nail art and acrylic nails.

Right now, Nguyen and Phan make up the staff, but they plan to add more employees soon.

In addition to nail services, they also offer nail products and polish for sale.

Prices offered are as follows: $35 for a pedicure; $20 for balance; $16 for a manicure; $25 for a kid’s spa, and $33 for a set of nails.
