On the same day that the White House drug czar and several government officials held a town hall meeting in Portsmouth to discuss solutions to the prescription drug problem, three people have been arrested with 1,381 milligrams of Oxycodone.

Zachary Boyd, 25, and Jennifer Tomlison, 19, both of 1113 Kent St., Apt 8F, in Portsmouth, and Antoine L. Nelson, 19 of 7372 Guthrie St., Detroit, Mich., face charges of trafficking in Oxycodone and possession of Oxycodone, both second-degree felonies; and trafficking in Alprazolam (Xanex) and possession of Alprazolam (Xanex), fourth-degree felonies. Boyd and Tomlison face additional charges of permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony.

Narcotics detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department executed a search warrant Sunday at the Kent Street residence as a result, they say, of wired purchases of Oxycodone from the apartment. Inside the residence, detectives said they located the two residents, Jennifer Tomlison and Zachary Boyd. Also in the apartment was Antoine Nelson.

During a search of the apartment detectives found 460 1/2 Oxzycodone 30-milligram tablets, and 108 Xanex 2-milligram tablets. They also seized $530 in cash.

Portsmouth Police Chief Charles Horner said anyone with information on drug activity in Portsmouth can call (740) 354-3784 (DRUG), and Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini, says information on drug activity in Scioto County can be reported at (740) 354-7566.
