Evelyn McCallister Boyles, 92

Evelyn McCallister Boyles, 92, of South Shore, Ky., went to be with her Lord, Sunday, June 10, 2012, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born Feb. 18, 1920, in New Boston, Ohio a daughter of the late Clyde McCallister and Gertrude Honaker McCallister.

She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother and a member of the Sandhill Pentecostal Church of Christ in South Shore, Ky.

Preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Boyles, Feb. 24, 1993, daughters, Peggy Louderback and Phyllis Thoroughman, two brothers, Basil McCallister and Paul McCallister, three sisters, Freida Lyons, Lillian Truglio and Betty Eddleman.

Surviving are three sons and wives, Clyde “Linda” Boyles, Gerald “Jeanie” Boyles, both of South Shore, Ky. and Carl Dean “JoAnn” Boyles of Chesapeake, Va. and three daughters and husbands, Kathy “Bill” Conn of South Shore, Ky., Janice Boyles of Morehead, Ky. and Louise “Don” Barnhart of Indianapolis, Ind., two brothers, Denver McCallister and Cline McCallister and one sister, Fayetta Royce, 31 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Rev. Cline McCallister, officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Ky.

Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
