All election results in today's Portsmouth Daily Times are unofficial. The Scioto County Board of Elections will certify the results at a special meeting on May 16. Under state election rules, a race gets an automatic recount if the race is within .5 percent. If a candidate doesn't qualify for an automatic recount and he or she still wants one, $10 per precinct must be paid.
