It was a beautiful night for a fender bender Saturday as the Scioto County Fair hosted the annual Demolition Derby. The stands were filled with onlookers, many of whom showed up early to claim their prime spot near the front. The demolition derby is a staple of fair entertainment, which this year also included Mel Tillis, Jo Dee Messina, Chuck Wicks, Joe Diffie and a circus.
