The descendants of Leslie and Gertrude Williams Claxon will have their 23rd annual Claxon Family Reunion on Sunday, June 3, at 1 p.m. at the Bloom Free Will Baptist Fellowship Hall on State Route 140 in Scioto Furnace.
Also, family and friends are invited to come and honor Juanita Claxon Schafer for her 90th birthday on July 6. “Nete” has been a longtime resident of the Powellsville community and a faithful member of the Powellsville/Pine Creek Free Will Baptist Church congregation for more than 65 years. The family hopes everyone will help them honor this special lady.
