He was born July 22,1976, at Portsmouth, the son of the late William Ray Broughton and Donna Austin Broughton of Portsmouth. Donald was a self -employed contractor.
Also surviving are his fiancée Lynn Messer and her daughters Skyler Messer and Abby Messer; one daughter Asia Frazier of South Shore, Ky.; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter Katie Leslie, and his grandparents Charles and Mary Austin and Edward Broughton and Betty Little.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Melcher Funeral Home. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at Melcher Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Melcher Funeral Home.
