Bernita “Kay” Littlejohn, 62, of Lucasville, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born Oct. 15, 1946, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Eugene Wilson and Evelyn M. Wiley Wilson Littlejohn, and her adoptive father, William K. Littlejohn.

She is survived by her brother, Eugene (Bonnie) Wilson of Nevada; nieces and nephews, Jon (Amy) Wilson of California, Christopher (Beth) Wilson of Nevada, and special niece and caregiver, Deborah Wilson of Lucasville; two great nieces and two great nephews; her extended family, brother Clarence Wilson of Virginia; sisters Susan Luce of Pennsylvania, and Mahala Vail of Virginia; and many cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at noon, Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in Lucasville Cemetery with Don Ruby officiating.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers who gave her wonderful care throughout the years.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
