OK sports fans the All-District voting is complete. I'm not allowed to release any names just yet but here are a few highlights.

If the unofficial list remains the same, every school in the area will have at least an honorable mention in one gender or the other.

There should also be some Player and Coach of the Year awards of interest to local fans.

Between both genders, area athletes earned 18 first team nods, 15 second team spots and 14 third team places.

The best represented school among local teams was Oak Hill and

all things considered the greater Scioto County area was among the best represented of any on the team.

The 2010 Associated Press All-District team is tentatively scheduled to be released Monday evening and will be posted here on Stege's Sports Report as soon as it's allowed.
