• The New Boston Fraternal Order of Eagles #2271 will host their Grand Opening event Saturday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. from their Aerie, located at 3200 Rhodes Ave.
• New Boston’s grand opening event will feature free food donated by various local entities and appearances by celebrities and local dignitaries. Currently scheduled to appear are former Major League Baseball players Al Oliver and Don Gullett and animal rights activist Alex Pacheco, co-founder of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Include in writing the names of the club or sponsoring organization, time, day, date and complete address of event planned.
