Born Aug. 17, 1938, in Ironton, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Lela Rish Harner. Ginny was a 1956 graduate of Wheelersburg High School, attended the University of Dayton and worked for the government as a cryptanalyst in Dayton and State College Pennsylvania.
Ginny was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will be truly missed by all.
Surviving are her husband, Forrest Colegrove, whom she married in June 1964; two sons, David (Joanne) Colegrove of Powell and Michael Colegrove of Delaware; two daughters, Karen (Joe) Flora of Hilliard and Jill (Dave) Adams of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Noah Flora, Alyssa Flora, Sierra Adams, Courtney Adams, Nathan Colegrove, Haley Colegrove and Lucas Colegrove; two brothers, Robert Harner and Richard Harner, both of Wheelersburg; and one sister, Barbara Holladay of Raleigh, N.C.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wheelersburg United Methodist Church, with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
