Raymond Edward Davis, 67, of Rosemount, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 17, 1939, in Sciotoville, a son of the late Leonard Davis and Dahlia Hunley Davis. He was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Evans Davis; daughters, Tammy Davis, Sheryl Davis and Amy Davis; brothers, Theodore Davis and William “Bill” Davis; sister, Judith Ruch; and seven grandchildren.
There is to be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the F. C. Daehler Mortuary in Portsmouth.
Michael Egerton, 58
Michael Egerton, 58, of Columbus, formerly of Wheelersburg, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2006, at a Columbus hospital.
He was born Feb. 3, 1948, in Portsmouth, a son of Clifford and Mary Evelyn Davis.
He was a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
Surviving also are wife, Jeannie Kennedy Egerton; sons, Aaron, Anthony and Andy Egerton; daughter, Angelia Pettit; brother, Doug Egerton; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Gardens with the Rev. George Whitt officiating and military graveside rites. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg.
Herbert McIntosh, 73
Herbert McIntosh, 73, of West Union, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at a West Union hospital.
He was born April 10, 1933, a son of the late Jack and Ludemea Mc Intosh.
Surviving are wife, Marlene Turner McIntosh; son, James G. McIntosh; sisters, Sofia Gilbert, Elvie McIntosh and Chaney McIntosh; brother, Jim McIntosh; and one grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beam Funeral Home in West Union. Friends may call noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Hazel Reed, 71
Hazel Perkins Reed, 71, of South Shore, Ky., died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, at her residence.
She was born April 9, 1935, in Magoffin County, Ky., a daughter of the late Lee Perkins and Ethel Burgett Perkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Reed.
Surviving are sons, Gary Reed, Arnold Reed Jr. and Emerson Perkins; daughters, Debbie Wells, Sheila Neal and Dorothy Wells; brothers, Dennie and John Perkins; sisters, Susie Perkins, Ruth Perkins, Ruby Perkins and Connie Combs; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with the Rev. Corey Wells and the Rev. Jonathan Neal officiating and interment in the Reed Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
