He was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Pike County, a son of the late James Hudson Anderson and Edith L. Johnson Anderson. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his daughter, Janet L. Tanner; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Mon-day at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with the Rev. Jack Hughes officiating and interment in Caldwell Cemetery with military graveside services by Ross County Firing Squad.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
