Ryan Scott Ottney is a lifelong resident of Scioto County. He has a college degree in English, communications and journalism, and he has been a staff writer for the Portsmouth Daily Times since 2006. Away from the office, Ryan enjoys reading, writing, music and comic books.

About Cody

Cody Leist is a sports writer with the Daily Times. A 2010 graduate of Capital University, Cody got his start in newspapers in January 2008 when he started writing for his school's newspaper, The Chimes. He was also a two-year intern with the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets. Cody resides in Sciotoville, he is single and with no children.

About Frank

Frank Lewis, a 40-year veteran of the broadcast industry, started a second career as a reporter/writer in 2005 at the Portsmouth Daily Times. Married with two children and two grandchildren, Frank’s real passion is studying the Bible and teaching a weekly class at New Life Family Worship Center. Frank enjoys sports and roots for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Bob Strickley is the Daily Times sports editor. Previously, he worked for the Big Ten Network and as freelance writer in Ohio before taking a sports editor position in Boston, Mass. He's a 2008 graduate of The Ohio State University and when not covering sports enjoys reading and music.

Wayne Allen is a photojournalist with the Community Common and the Portsmouth Daily Times. He currently serves as the co-president of the Scioto County Habitat for Humanity. He serves on the SSU Alumni Council and the Autism Project of Southern Ohio Board of Directors.

Tracy Ison is a Sales Account Executive with the Portsmouth Daily Times, a Heartland Publication.
