Notre Dame 20, East 0

Tori Harr threw a no-hitter, and the Notre Dame Titans scored 11 runs in the fifth inning to blow past the East Tartans by the score of 20-0 Wednesday night in Sciotoville.

Harr pitched five innings, striking out 11 batters. She didn’t allow a walk. Harr also went 3-for-4 on the day with an RBI.

Madi Phillips also had a big day offensively for the Titans. She went 3-for-4. Elayen Born went 2-for-4, batting in two runs.

The Titans will be back in action on Thursday when they take on Symmes Valley at home.

Minford 7, West 6

The Minford Falcons were able to fend off a late-inning rally by the West Senators Tuesday night in order to hold on for a 7-6 victory.

Mary Pica hit a solo home run for Minford, and Kelsey Konkey went 3-for-4 with a touble, and Jordyn Pennington went 3-for-3 with a double. Konkey also picked up the win for the Falcons.

In a losing effort, Megan Shuppert went 1-for-1, scoring two runs for the Senators. Bobby Jo Howard scored a run and had an RBI.

Minford will travel to Oak Hill tomorrow to take on the Oaks.

Travis Smith threw a no-hitter Wednesday night as the West Senators defeated the South Webster Jeeps by the score of 9-0.

Smith went all seven innings, allowed no hits and struck out five batters. He also went 2-for-4 from the plate.

Wes Book went 4-for-5 for West, including a double. Book scored four runs. Austin Howard was a perfect 4-for-4 from the plate, including two doubles. Howard also picked up his first career stolen base.

West is back in action Thursday, when they take on Wheelersburg at home.

Minford 15, Oak Hill 5

The Minford Falcons brought their bats with them to Oak Hill Wednesday night and defeated the Oaks by a score of 15-5.

Levi Jenkins, Eli Daniels and Dylan Shockley all had three RBIs in the game for the Falcons. Daniels also tripled, and Shockley doubled twice.

The Falcons return to the diamond on Thursday when they travel to South Webster to take on the Jeeps.

Valley 6, Waverly 1

The Valley Indians used a five-run seventh inning in order to down the Waverly Tigers 6-1.

Alex Loop belted a three-run homer in the final frame to help power the Indians. Nate Arnett doubled and drove in a run.

Arnett also picked up the win for the Indians. He pitched a complete game, striking out six batters while only walking one.

The Indians will be back in action tomorrow when they travel to take on Lewis County.
