The Valley Indians improved their record to 4-3 with an 11-1 victory over the West Senators Monday night in Lucasville.


Kayla Koch blasted two home runs for the Indians as part of a 3-for-3, five RBI night. She also picked up the win, allowing only one run.


Amber Altman added 4 RBIs while going 2-for-3 to help the Indians claim victory.

The Notre Dame Titans improved on its perfect SOC I record and improved to 9-2 overall with a 10-0 victory over the Eastern Eagles in Portsmouth.

Brooke Pierron went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and scoring two runs herself. Elayen Born also went 2-for-3 with two RBI and also scored two runs.

Tori Harr picked up the victory for the Titans, her eighth win of the season.

The Titans will be back tomorrow at Raceland (Ky.)

West beat Valley 12-1 as Luke Morgan was one out away from throwing a no-hitter.

Morgan finished the night allowing the aforementioned hit while striking out 12 batters. Morgan improves his record to 4-0 on the season.

West was lead offensively by Austin Howard who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI. On the mound, Luke Morgan pitched a complete game, allowing no earned runs and striking out 12.

The Senators return to the diamond Monday as they travel to Waverly.

The Green Bobcats picked up a win Monday night at the expense of the New Boston Tigers by the score of 7-1 in Franklin Furnance.

John Hallum’s arm was the difference maker, as he pitched a complete game four-hitter. Eighteen of the 21 outs he recorded were strike-outs.

Offensively, Clay Applegate scored three runs and hit a double.

The Bobcats are back in action tomorrow in Ironton.

Notre Dame ran early and often on the Eagles, stealing 15 bases. Jack Kayser led the way for the Titans with four stolen bases. He was also 3-for-3 and scored two runs.

Daniel Ogg went 1-for-4 with 2 RBIs for Notre Dame.
