Piketon junior Kane Dixon won the boys individual title at Saturday’s Unioto Invitational as the Redstreaks finished third as a team.
Dixon crossed the stripe with a time of 15:50.90, nearly two seconds in front of the Shermans’ Ethan Richter. However, Unioto finished with the last laugh as the boys captured the team title with 59 points while Piketon earned 87.
