In Christendom, many people around the world will recognize this day as, “Easter,” or Resurrection Day. In Jewish culture, the Passover was recently celebrated. Henceforth, this time of year has become a battleground for many Christians, as some choose to debate the details regarding when Jesus was killed, and when he arose. My friends, let’s not forget the crux of the matter, Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, who the Bible said was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities. The bible also teaches that on the third day, Jesus arose. His rising gave us life. His rising gave us an eternal hope that could never be duplicated. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and one glorious day, he is coming back again. This is the greatest story ever told, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we should dedicate more time telling the world about Jesus, telling the world that Jesus saves, heals and delivers those who believe in him from lives of sin and shame. It is not about recovery, but it is all about regeneration, being washed in the blood of the Lamb, and that Lamb is Jesus. If you are going to church to celebrate today, great, but if you do not have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, make sure that when the opportunity affords itself, run to the altar and accept Jesus as Lord! Have a great day my friends, and remember Jesus lives, and he is coming back again. May we all be ready for his arrival.
