GREENUP, Ky. — Greenup Christian Church will host a Tractor Show and Classic Car Cruise-In on Saturday, June 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Greenup Christian Church.

Mike Dennis, pastor of Greenup Christian Church, said the Tractor Show and Classic Car Cruise-In is about connecting passion with hobbies.

“We are bringing together the passions and hobbies of enthusiasts of classic tractors and classic cars from around the region to be displayed for this show.” Dennis said. “We are looking forward to this event to take a walk down memory lane of days long ago and reminisce about working in the fields and planting crops, then hitting the road with powerful cars decked out for the need for speed and power.”

He also encourages the community to attend to share stories and inspire another generation to grow in love with the classics.

According to GCC, registration for tractors and classic cars will begin at 3 p.m. The event will also feature inflatables and games for children as well as Bluegrass music performed by the group Looking Up.

Door prizes for entrants will also be awarded. There is no registration fee and admission to the event is free. Donations of canned food and non-perishable items will be collected to benefit Helping Hands of Greenup.

Greenup Christian Church is located at 711 Main Street in downtown Greenup. For more information, contact Greenup Christian Church at 606-473-9477.
