The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the help of the public in locating a two-year-old boy, whom authorities identified only as Gage, missing from his home in South Webster, Ohio.

“We received a call from a female at approximately 12:32 (p.m.) this date (Wednesday) from 940 Smith Rd. advising that her son had been missing for approximately 30 minutes,” Scioto County Sheriff’s Captain Shawn Sparks said. “We immediately dispatched our units as well as the fire department units out there.”

At around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sparks said the two-year-old boy was last seen wearing a camouflage hoodie and gray sweatpants. He said the boy may be accompanied by one of the family’s dogs, brindle in color, named “Bree.”

“We’re still searching for this individual,” Sparks said. “If anyone sees this child they should call 911 or call the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 740-354-7566.
