SOUTH POINT — A 16-year old South Point girl is missing, and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating her. Angelina L. Ihle, 16, from South Point, failed to return home from school on Thursday, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

Lawrence County Sheriff’s report said Ihle stayed after school on Thursday to attend an Ohio Graduation Test Prep class, after which Ihle was expected to call home in order to be picked up at around 5:30 p.m. Authorities said the call was not made. According to a release from the Lawrence County Sheriff, school officials at South Point High School where Ihle attends, advised the sheriff’s office that Ihle did attend a portion of the after school class, said she had somewhere to be, and excused herself and departed from the classroom.

Angelina L. Ihle is 16-years old, 5-foot 2-inches, 105 pounds, has sandy-brown hair, and brown eyes. According to reports, Ihle has been entered as missing in the NCIC Computer, and school officials are reviewing their security video footage to ascertain who Ihle left with and any information that would lead to her location.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding Ihle’s whereabouts should contact the office immediately at 740-532-3525.
