Greenup County man charged with selling heroin

WESTWOOD, Ky. — Benjamin Mullins, 25, of Raceland, Ky., was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree drug trafficking. Mullins allegedly sold heroin to an undercover operative for the Boyd County Sheriff’s Department, and was transported to the Boyd County Detention Center.

According to the Boyd County Sheriff’s Department, the illegal transaction occurred on Tuesday at approximately 7 p.m. on Mclure Street, when deputies apprehended Mullins’ vehicle, and placed him under arrest.

Boyd County Sheriff Department said Mullins confessed to the sell of the heroin, and remains incarcerated at the Boyd County Detention Center.
