Scioto County, OH – Troopers from the Portsmouth Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal ATV crash which occurred in the 3000 block of Gephart Road in Wheelersburg. The State Highway Patrol received the call at 1:16 pm stating that the driver of the 2000 Polaris Scrambler had gone off the right side of the road, and was ejected from the ATV after he struck a fence post.

The driver, 35 year old Nathan Lee Wiedbrauk of West Portsmouth, Ohio, was pronounced deceased at the scene by a representative from the Scioto County Coroner’s Office after efforts by members of South Webster Squad 7 to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

The crash remains under investigation.
