A man wanted on a probation holder from Scioto County Common Pleas Court has been sentenced to 1 to 15 years in prison by a judge in Cabell Circuit Court in Huntington.

Henry Coleman, 39, was sentenced by Cabell Circuit Judge Alfred E. Ferguson.

A spokeswoman for Cabell Circuit Court told the Daily Times Coleman was sentenced to 1 to 15 years in the Department of Corrections with credit for time served. She said he entered a plea of guilty to a felony offense of delivery of a controlled substance, which was heroin.

Scioto County Prosecutor Mark Kuhn said Coleman was wanted on a felony probation violation involving a felony 5 drug case.

The original charges filed against Coleman in Scioto County were lodged against him in 2012 and included one count of possession of heroin, a fifth degree felony and one count of possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, according to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a story in the Herald-Dispatch, Coleman reportedly has a history of 60 arrests and was denied alternative sentencing.
