Greenup PD looking for thief

GREENUP, Ky. — Authorities at the Greenup, Ky. Police Department (GCPD) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying woman is being labeled a con artist, who has made rounds at a series of Greenup County, Ky. businesses, swindling cash.

Authorities at GCPD told The Daily Times that the subject who is described as an African American woman with gray shoulder length hair, has swindled money during the course of monetary transactions, and has also been described as, “slick.” A Marathon gas station, and Super Quick in Greenup County, Ky. have fallen prey to the subject, and there are also reports that the subject was also seen in a Rite Aid store in Wheelersburg.

In the store surveillance footage the woman’s vehicle appears to be either silver, or possibly white Lincoln with a navy blue cloth Landau top. GCPD urges anyone who can identify the subject, or has any information regarding the location of the woman to call the GCPD office at 606-473-6414, or dial 911.
