2 arrested; 27 grams of suspected cocain recovered

December 19 at approximatelty 5:46 a.m., Officers with the Portsmouth Police Department responded to 2415 Thomas Ave. Apt. B to assist Portsmouth Municipal Court Probation Department. Probation Officers made contact with the resident of that apartment, Ty Arrowood, and did a pat down search. Probation Officers located synthetic marijuana and a large amount of cash. During further search of the residence Officers located a .32 caliber handgun, nitrile gloves, digital scales, and 27 grams of suspected cocaine.

Arrested were:

1. Ty Arrowood, age 19, of Portsmouth, Ohio. Charged with Trafficking in Drugs F-1, Possession of Drugs F-1, Having a Weapon under Disability F-3, and Possession of Criminal Tools F-5.

2. Katelynn E. Keyes, age 25, of Portsmouth, Ohio. Charged with Trafficking in Drugs, F-1, Possession of Drugs F-1, Having a Weapon under Disability F-3, and Possession of Criminal Tools F-5.

All suspects were arrested, processed, and lodged in the Scioto County Jail. Additional charges will be considered when the case is presented to the Scioto County Grand Jury.
