SSU seeking volunteers for Hurricane Relief Drive

Shawnee State University is seeking volunteers and donations for a Hurricane Relief Drive scheduled for Tues., Sept. 26 and Weds., Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Morris University Center.

Volunteer sign-ups are being taken up by the SSU Women’s & Gender Equity Center, The Bears Necessities Pantry, and the SSU Veteran Services Office.

SSU is asking for the campus and surrounding communities to donate cases of bottled water, baby formula and baby food, but all items that people wish to donate will be accepted.
