Shawnee State University will be offering ACT Test Prep courses for Fall 2017 to help students learn new study skills and test taking strategies.
The ACT Test Prep courses offer sessions for math, reading, writing, science reasoning and English. Courses will be taught by Loretta Harvey, STEMM Hub Coordinator at SSU; Ann Linden, Associate Professor of English & Humanities at SSU; and John Whitaker, SSU Professor of Mathematical Sciences.
Students can register for the entire 5-part series for $150 and will include The REAL ACT Prep Guide with the CD, or they can register for individual classes for $50 per subject and does not include the cost of the guide.
The series will begin on Tues., Sept. 19 with the math course. The reading session will be Tues., Sept. 26; then writing on Tues., Oct. 3; science reasoning will be held Tues., Oct. 10, and wrap on with the English session on Tues., Oct. 17. All classes are held from 6-8:30 p.m. in Room 109 in Massie Hall.

Payments must be received no later than Sept. 15. No refunds will be issued after the series/session begins.
