South Central Ohio Educational Service Center holds Millennial Neuroscience & Best Instructional Practices to Close the Achievement Gap workshop.


The “Millennial Neuroscience & Best Instructional Practices to Close the Achievement Gap” Workshop, was held on Aug. 9, 2017, at the South Central Ohio Educational Service Center, in New Boston, Ohio.

This is a fast-paced and interactive workshop for K-12th grade educators, counselors, aides and administrators that will provide training in research-based critical thinking and content area strategies that engage and motivate students to develop the 21st century critical thinking skills necessary for success across ALL content areas.

Presenter Julie Adams, M.A.T., NBCT — founder of Adams Educational Consulting — is an energetic educator who has taught multiple content areas from kindergarten through graduate school. She is an internationally respected and highly sought after consultant providing 21st century neuroscience, critical thinking and content area literacy and writing trainings to public and private schools and universities worldwide.
