A Wheelersburg man has been indicted for pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.
Dean Miller, 35, of Wheelersburg, was charged with one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor a felony of the fourth degree by a Scioto County grand jury.
Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said his office was contacted by a parent around July 14, 2015 who stated that she found inappropriate texts and messages on her son’s phone from an adult male. A detective was able to meet with her to file a report and start an investigation.
Donini said after the investigation was completed a search warrant was issued and served at the suspect’s residence. It was during that investigation that a phone and a computer were taken into evidence to be forwarded to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I) for further testing.
