PORTSMOUTH — The Portsmouth Celebration starts Monday, July 3, where the Midway rides will open at 4:00 p.m. on Front Street. Following will be Tuesday’s events: Tuesday, July 4 – The riverfront at Front & Court will open at 5:00 p.m. Food & Beverages will be available along with the Midway that will be open all day. Then, the evening fireworks display will be after the following events: 6:00 p.m. – Donnie Smith & Midnight Blue, 7:30 p.m. – Social in the tents, 9:00 p.m. Doc Roc and the Remedies and then at 10:00 p.m., the Fireworks.
GREENUP — The city of Greenup will celebrate independence day Saturday, July 1, starting the evening off with a puppet show for the kids at 6:00 p.m. At 6:45 AXIS, winner of the Ashland battle of the bands, will take the stage. At 7:15 p.m., Andy Hutchinson and friends will follow and at 8:00 Against the Grain will take the stage until the fireworks begin at 9:45 p.m
PIKETON — Piketon has an admission free fireworks display July 4, 2017 at Dusk. It is located at the Piketon High School parking lot; near the soccer fields (1414 Township Road 510). This is an annual event sponsored by the Village of Piketon with free food, entertainment and fun for the whole family, bring your lawn chairs and relax.
