A robbery in Wheelersburg could be the third by the same suspect, and the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in finding that suspect. The assailant is described as around 5 feet 10 inches tall with dark hair including facial hair with some gray in it. According to witnesses, the suspect was wearing blue jeans and a dark colored shirt, camouflage hat and sun classes.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said his office received a call at 5:03 p.m., Thursday from Factory Connection located at 9001 Ohio River Road stating that they had just been robbed. He said deputies responded to that location where they were told the man, bearing that description, entered the store and demanded money from the register. He then reportedly exited the store with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen on foot walking west through the parking lot.

Captain John Murphy said, during the investigation, detectives obtained information that the Factory Connection robbery could be connected with two previous robberies at WesBanco, which is also located on Ohio River Road in Wheelersburg.

Mujrphy said the investigation is ongoing, and stated anyone with information on a possible suspect should call detective Jodi Conkel at 740-351-1091 all calls will remain anonymous.
