Vehicle accident results in two Minford students and two drivers in serious condition.

Late Thursday afternoon, March 2, 2017, a green Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound on SR 335 after picking up two Minford Middle School students.

“A gold Buick Century came left of center causing the Jeep to flip on it’s top,” according to Sargent Baisden of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The Buick was traveling southbound on SR 335 just below the four-way stop near Muletown Mini Mart.

The driver of the Buick was taken by life-flight to St. Mary’s Medical Center. One of the children in the Jeep was transported by ground to Children’s Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio while the other child was taken by life-flight to Cabell Huntington Hospital.

The driver of the Jeep was transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center to await a helicopter for transport to another facility for further medical treatment.
