The Portsmouth West High School will be honoring the 2016 Basketball Homecoming Queen and her Court on January 22nd when the West Senators host the Waverly Tigers. This ceremony will be held between the Junior Varsity and Varsity games. The theme for the evening is A LOVEly Night.
Haleigh Pollard, daughter of Tk Pollard and Tammy Roark, has been chosen to be our 2016 queen. She will be escorted by Austin Kammer, son of the late Tracy Kammer and grandson of Craig and Teresa Stidham of West Portsmouth.
Senior Attendant Maddisyn Dillow, daughter of Stephen Dillow and Bobbi Rosen of West Portsmouth, will be escorted by Brady Reynolds. Brady is the son of Scott and Kim Reynolds of West Portsmouth.
The junior attendant, Robin Zendejas is the daughter of Raul Zendejas and Dunia Mershon of West Portsmouth. She will be escorted by Derrek Carver, son of Andy and Charlene Carver of West Portsmouth.
The Scioto County Joint Vocational school is being represented by junior attendant Gabrielle Browning. Miss Browning is the daughter of Pam Adkins of West Portsmouth. Her escort is Dalton Billetter, son of Donald and Becky Billeter also of West Portsmouth.
Aiym Sarmanova has been selected as the sophomore attendant. She is the host daughter of Tammie Prose of West Portsmouth and will be escorted by Dalton Meyers. He is the son of Dave and Lisa Meyers of West Portsmouth.
Freshman attendant, Jordyn Swords, daughter of Bill and Charmaine Swords of West Portsmouth, will be escorted by Cole Staggs. He is the son of Heather Staggs of West Portsmouth.
A dance will be held in honor of the queen and her court immediately following the game for all West High school students and their approved guests.
