The mission of the Minford Telephone Company is to build customer loyalty through customer satisfaction and outstanding value. Paula McGraw, general manager of Minford Telephone, said the company works to fulfill that mission every day.

McGraw started working at Minford Telephone Company in 1984 and was promoted to general manager in 1997.

McGraw said the Minford Telephone Company is always looking for ways to evolve and bring the best technology to customers.

There are various aspects to the Minford Telephone Company, Falcon1 internet, Minford Telephone, and Minford TV.

McGraw said Falcon1 was started in 2000 and has grown since. In 2006, the company started offering Minford Long Distance. In 2009, they pushed their growing technology even further by offering faster internet to homes through fiber optic lines.

“We are now a triple play company; we offer telephone, high speed internet, and TV,” McGraw said.

When asked about upcoming upgrades, McGraw said, “as for the future, we’re getting ready to offer higher speeds on our fiber to the home internet and also watch TV everywhere. This means that, as long as you have Wi-Fi service, you can access your TV programming from any device. If you’re camping or out of town, and you want to access your TV account, you can watch it on your laptop, tablet, or cell phone.”

She said the new technology is anticipated to be operational by the end of the year.

One of the many things McGraw bragged about was the customer service Minford Telephone offers.

“We are easily available and accessible to people. You can walk into our office and talk to us or call us on the telephone,” McGraw said.

When you walk into Minford Telephone Company offices, 10717 State Rt. 139, you will be greeted by a person. When you call the company, someone will answer the phone, you will not be asked to navigate an automated system.

She said the company also takes pride in repairing issues within 24 hours.

The Minford Telephone Company offers services to Minford, Stockdale, Clarktown, and Rubyville.

“We’re big supporters in the school systems and the community,” McGraw said, “We try to give back to our customers in hope that they continue with us.”

McGraw is married to Brett McGraw, who is the pastor of Minford Bible Baptist Church. They are approaching their 30th Wedding Anniversary.

The couple has two children and soon to be fourth grandchildren a daughter.
