Wings of Healing Student of the Month

We would like to congratulate Taylor Graham for being awarded Student Of The Month for June 2017 at Wings Of Healing Worship Center.

Taylor is 16 years old, and attends Portsmouth West High School where she plays flute in the marching band. She says that her special achievement is “being most likely to be out of step for band.”

She is a member of the Army Of God Drama Team, as well as the Youth Praise Team at Wings Of Healing.

Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, because she says “God will always be there for you so you should not try to do things alone.” Her favorite book is “Bud Not Buddy”, and her favorite quote is “If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.”

Taylor collects stuffed animals, and some of her other favorites are the Green Bay Packers, English in school, the color black, strawberries with whipped cream, and Rainbow Sour Strips.

The person she most admires is her stepfather Joey Holsinger, because she says that “he gets things done.”

Taylor’s special talents are singing and drawing. She would like to someday work as a model. She says something people may not know about her is that she’s sensitive.

“Taylor is a sweet girl with a big heart,” Pastor Chuck and Sis. Amanda Holsinger said. “She is kind and compassionate to those around her. Taylor is very helpful with the younger youth in activities and special services. Wings Of Healing is blessed to have her.”

“I really enjoy having Taylor in Sunday School class,” Dunia Mershon, Sunday School Coordinator, said. “She listens and participates and has such a sweet spirit. I love watching her perform on the drama team and singing with the youth.”

“Taylor is a very sweet young lady,” Kim Baker, Sunday School Teacher, said. “She always participates in class. She has a God-given talent for singing and does a fantastic job as a member of both the youth praise team and Army Of God Drama Team. It’s exciting to see Taylor step out and do more for the Lord.”

“Taylor is a wonderful young lady,” Jessica Ingles, Drama Team Leader, said. “She is a joy to be around. I love to watch her put her heart into the drama team as she does the dramas. I love to see her stepping out of her comfort zone and being a part of the things in the church. She has a beautiful voice and I love that she is using it to sing praises to God. I am very proud of Taylor. Keep stepping out Taylor and doing God’s work. Always put God first and follow Him. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for you. ”
