Coles Blvd. First Church of God

Pastor Chad Benner and the congregation of Coles Blvd. First Church Of God, located at 1300 Coles Blvd., invite you to come and worship with them.

Sunday, June 4, 10:30 a.m. – Morning Worship with guest speaker, Scott Bradford, bringing the message from God’s Word. An interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing is available at all services. 6 p.m. – Evening Worship with guest speaker, Buck Musick, bringing the message from God’s Word.

Duck Run Community Church

Duck Run Community Church will be in Revival Tuesday, June 6 thru Thursday, June 9, 7 P.M. with Evangelist Joe Nelson. Music will be furnished by The Carter Sisters, Lisa Jordan and Ladies Trio from Community Bible Church.

St. John Lutheran Church

St. John Lutheran Church invites individuals and families to come and worship. They are located at 5600 Junior Furnace /Powellsville Road in Franklin Furnace. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Carl Beck. Children’s Church is provided.

North Moreland Christian Baptist Church

Breakfast is served every Sunday morning 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Sunday School 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Pastor Paul Hagen. Super Church Pastor Chris Meenach 10:30 a.m. to noon. Morning Worship Service 10:30 a.m. to noon. Evening Worship Service 6:00 p.m.

Community of Christ

Community of Christ, 2237 Russell Avenue in West Portsmouth, will be led in 10:30 AM Morning Worship by Elder Kathy Deemer. She will develop the weekly World Church theme of “Rivers of Living Water” which will also include Communion and Day of Pentecost/Endowment Sunday.

Sandhill International Pentecostal Church of Christ

The Food Pantry at Sandhill International Pentecostal Church of Christ will be showing the film, ‘What Would Jesus Do,’ on Friday, June 9 at 7 p.m., with refreshments to be served afterwards. The church will also hold a fundraising car wash at Tim Horton’s on Saturday, June 10 at 11 a.m. and will host its fourth annual community-free cookout meals to the needy.
