Summer Food Service program for those in need


Staff Report



The Community Action Committee of Pike County is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided from June 5, 2017 through August 4, 2017 at the sites and times as follows:

  • The Garnet A. Wilson Public Library, 207 North Market Street, Waverly, Ohio, 12:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • The Eastern Library Branch. 310 Third Street, Beaver, Ohio, 12:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • The Piketon Library Branch, 200 East Second Street, Piketon, Ohio, 12:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • The Western Library Branch, 13256 State Route #124, Piketon, Ohio, 12:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • The Pike County YMCA, 400 Pride Drive, Waverly, Ohio, 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Pike Metropolitan Housing Authority, 1:00-1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday at two sites as listed:

  • Vansant Commons, 2626 Shyville Rd, Piketon, Ohio – Monday and Wednesday June 5 through July 26
  • Moore Meadows, 633 Market Street, Piketon, Ohio – Tuesday and Thursday June 6 through July 27
