Wings Of Healing Worship Center would like to congratulate Natalie Mershon for being awarded Student Of The Month for March 2017.

Natalie is 13 years old and attends Portsmouth West Middle School where she plays basketball. Her 7th grade team just won the SOC in February. She is on the straight A Honor Roll, is a member of the Bel Canto Chior, and is also in T.A.G. ( Talented and Gifted ).

Natalie was named 2015 Young Miss River Days, is a member of The Army Of God Drama Team, plays the piano and loves to sing.

Her favorite book is the Bible, her favorite verse being Philippians 4:13 because she says it reminds her that she can do anything with God on her side. The person she most admires is Jesus, because He saved her from her sins.

Some of Natalie’s other favorites are Ohio State, Science, the color purple, all kinds of food, and chocolate. She likes to collect music boxes, and loves the quote “ Shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

Natalie loves babies and would like to help them by becoming a NICU nurse one day.

“Natalie is a smart and talented young lady with a heart for the things of God. We are thankful for her willingness to participate in many of the ministries at Wings Of Healing while juggling a very busy school and basketball schedule. She is a true leader and God has great things in store for her life. We are honored to be part of it,” said Pastor Chuck and Sis. Amanda Holsinger.

“I enjoy having Natalie in class. She’s a bright and talented young lady. She’s always willing to help and participate in whatever is going on at church. She loves to worship the Lord through signing on the drama team,” said Dunia Mershon, Sunday School Coordinator.

Kim Baker, Sunday School Teacher said, “Natalie is a sweet and polite young lady. She willingly participates in various activities we do during Sunday school and doesn’t hesitate to ask relevant questions. She does an awesome job signing, singing, and also acting in our programs. I believe the Lord has great things in store for her.”

“Natalie is a very bright girl. She is very talented and does amazing in everything she does. She is such a blessing to have on the drama team. I love to watch her up front doing the dramas and singing. She really puts her all into each and every solo and song she does. It’s amazing to see the growth in her spiritually over the years. I love seeing her step out and step up for God. She always has a smile on her face and can make you laugh even when you’re having a bad day. I am so excited to see what God has planned for her future. Keep your head up Natalie, God has a lot in store for you,” said Jessica Ingles, Drama Team Leader.
