Notre Dame Golf Coach Meet-and-Greet

All Notre Dame students (grades 7-12) are invited to meet new Titan head golf coach Donny Pollard on Tuesday, July 15 at 10 a.m. at Elks Country Club in McDermott.

West Portsmouth Youth Football Sign-Ups

The West Portsmouth Youth Football/Cheerleading Sign-ups will be Saturday, July12th from 9-11am at The Complex. The league is open to K-6th Grades and parents need to bring a birth certificate with them to sign-ups. Follow The Complex on Facebook for future Sign-Up Dates.

Western Sun Masonic Lodge Golf Tournament

The Western Sun Masonic Lodge Golf Tournament will take place Saturday July 12 at the Elks Club beginning at 2 p.m.

Interested participants can register by calling Ed Davis at 740-776-2556 or by visiting the lodge.

The entry fee will be $200 per team, with the tournament splitting into three divisions: seniors, the open and a ladies division. Prizes and prize money will be awarded throughout the day.

After the tournament, Ribber will provide food.

Portsmouth Peewee Football Sign Ups

The Portsmouth Peewee football sign ups will take place July 15 and 16 from 6-8 p.m., at the Portsmouth Elementary School.

Southern Ohio Basketball Academy

The Southern Ohio Basketball Academy will take place at the McGraw League facilities on State Route 140 in Sociotoville on July 16, 17 and 18. The camp, opened to all boys and girls grades K-6 is designed to develop and teach fundamental basketball skills. Daily personal instruction and stations will focus on dribbling, ball handling, shooting, rebounding and defensive techniques. Campers will compete on teams and as individuals in order to apply their individual skills to the team concept. The cost of the camp is $40 for pre-registered campers, or $50 the first day of camp. Every camper will receive a camp T-shirt and a basketball, along with other gifts from local sponsors. Circleville Dog Days 5K Road Race

The 13th annual Circleville Dog Days 5K Road Race presented by Red Barn will be held Saturday, August 2 at 9 a.m. beginning and ending at Circleville High School. Numerous door prizes will be awarded, water and splits will be available on the course, and refreshments will be available at the finish. If you are interested in running, print an entry form at Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. or register the day of the race from 7:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. There is a $15 preregistration fee ($20 on race day), and at least the first 150 registered will receive a free T-shirt.

Hat-Tricks for Hodgkins Soccer Tournament

The Hat-Trick for Hodgkins Soccer Tournament will be held August 16 at Minford High School Soccer Field.

This year’s proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (Cincinnati Chapter). The money will help fund lifesaving research and provide information and support to patients throughout their cancer journey.

Adams County Fall Basketball League

The Second Annual Adams County Fall Basketball League will begin August 23rd for boys and girls in grades 3-4, 5-6 & 7-8.
