All Saints to host Pancake Dinner for Shrove Tuesday

All Saints Episcopal Church will celebrate Shrove Tuesday on Tuesday, March 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Pancake Dinner.

Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, which starts the celebration of the Lenten season. Shrove Tuesday is observed by followers of many Christian denominations. In the seventh week before the Easter, and the day before Ash Wednesday, All Saints Episcopal Church will host a Pancake Dinner.

According to Tim Angel, of All Saints Episcopal, the men of All Saints will be preparing a delicious pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk, and juice.

“It will be a wonderful time of fellowship, and great food for the community to enjoy,” Angel said.

The proceeds from the event will be allocated for the repair of the church roof. Angel said the church did not have a specific goal, but would be grateful for any and all support given.
