ASHLAND, Ky. — A workshop, titled “SBA Loan Options for Small Businesses”, is being offered by Morehead State University’s Ashland Small Business Development Center and Huntington National Bank on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.
The event will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Jesse Stuart Foundation on the corner of 17th Street and Winchester Avenue in downtown Ashland.
The workshop is designed to address a variety of financial needs that Business owners possess.
The workshop will provide information on credit and lending processes such as the ability to obtain credit as a self- employed borrower and sources of business and commercial financing.
Stephanie Ellingson, SBA Product Specialist, Huntington National Bank, will lead the seminar.
Ellington will discuss various SBA loan programs for start-up and existing business owners.
Participants will learn more about SBA of loan programs including the 7(a) loan, microloan, CDC/505 loan, the eligibility criteria and application process, required paperwork and supporting documentation, credit factors, availability of collateral, and much more.
This workshop is being offered free of charge and is open to the public. Seating is limited and advance registration is required.
Training programs, sponsored or co-sponsored by SBDC, are available to all individuals without regard to race, color, sex, creed or national origin.
