Ohio high school fans will now be able to access scores and updates from area and statewide games thanks to the OHSAA’s newest partnership.
Starting this week, teams will either need to input scores into the myOHSAA online system or use a free sofware application operated by Digital Scout that works for smartphones and tablets. In a written release, the OHSAA endorsed the Columbus-based digital statistical programming company, its software and highly encouraged schools to use the system.
To date, more than 200 Ohio varsity teams use the free stat tracking app. Statewide scores and statistics can be located at www.hsgamecenter.com/ohsaa.
Monday’s release also included the announcement of all-session tickets and other ticket packages for this year’s state football championships are on sale. The 2013 state football championships will take place Dec. 5-7 at Massilon’s Paul Brown Tiger Stadium and Canton’s Fawcett Stadium.
This year, 714 schools will battle for 10 weeks to claim one of the 224 playoff berths in the seven divisions.
